City Park / Congress Park / Cheesman Park

Spending time outside is a high priority for Denver residents, and no neighborhoods make that easier than these three. Each is centered around a beautiful park, with trails, lakes, sports fields, and plenty of fresh air. And, the plethora of popular restaurants and shops (particularly along Colfax) make it a highly walkable area. City Park is also home to some of Denver’s premier cultural attractions, like the zoo and the Museum of Nature and Science. Take a step onto the museum’s west balcony for one of the best views of the skyline, perfectly framed by the Rocky Mountains. And, don’t miss the zoo in wintertime — their lights display is bound to get you in the holiday spirit.
