Cherry Creek

Cherry Creek

Home to the Cherry Creek Mall, Cherry Creek North Shopping District, the Cherry Creek Bike Path, and some of Denver’s most high-end real estate, Cherry Creek is as posh and luxurious a neighborhood as you’ll find in Denver. Boasting a summer farmer’s market, endless blocks of shopping, dining, spas, art galleries, and an unusual number of oriental rugs, Cherry Creek bustles year round with shoppers, lunchers, and couples strolling after a late night bite at the Cherry Cricket, one of Denver’s most famous burger joints.

Fresh produce, all year round

If the lack of spaces in their parking lot is any indication of the popularity of the Cherry Creek Whole Foods, you might expect endless register lines and a picked-over produce section. Not the case. Despite it being one of the most popular spots in Cherry Creek, it’s amply prepared for the hoards of shoppers seeking local produce, fresh meats and organic household supplies. Supplementing their year-round selection, every Saturday from May to October (and Wednesdays from June to September) the Cherry Creek Farmer’s Market offers tamales, smoothies, and all the home-grown veggies you could ever want.

Bromwell School

Located in the heart of Cherry Creek North, Bromwell is known as one of the top elementary schools in the region. Bromwell students consistently score higher than average on standardized assessments and the school was ranked a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. There are plenty of reasons to consider living in Cherry Creek, but if you want to give your little ones the best public school education you can, Bromwell is certainly something to consider.

The Denver Botanic Gardens

Ranked one of the best botanical gardens in the country, Denver’s Botanic Gardens boast 23 acres of diverse plant life, most of which is native to Colorado. But there is far more than just plants there. Throughout the year, visitors are treated to a variety of educational and seasonal activities like the Garden Grape & Hops in June or the Indigenous Film Festival in October. Throughout the summer, the Gardens host an outdoor concert series at their sunken amphitheater as well as yoga, gardening, cooking classes, and a sustainable food series.

Shopping central

Cherry Creek is synonymous with shopping. From the mall -- which boasts the top department stores and retail chains in the country -- to boutiques and galleries that line the streets of Cherry Creek North. Housewares, furniture, outdoor apparel -- it’s all there. Throughout the year, Cherry Creek holds arts festivals, sidewalk sales, Lemonade Days, and holiday festivities so there’s always something fun to check out.
